Wait... before I review.. is this yours or not?

Edit: in that case then, it's amazing!! :)

I am known as Postal268 on NG here but I made this account for uploading these songs for my grandparents, my grandfather was the bassist and my grandmother was the vocalist. It's theirs but as far as they informed me every song was a cover other than their one original song Roller Coaster Blues. Who they covered I have no idea lol but I have been given permission to upload all of their recordings and I can relay any information you want back to them.

Edit: Thanks, I'll let them know people are liking their recordings. They were much better musicians than I am, that's why I was very sad when they retired from music.

Nice intro, liking those clicks, cheeky little riser in the build followed by a false build section which is nice.

Drop itself is decent but lacks punch. Too much reeverb and your section after the drop is too quiet. The kick punches well but lacks low end imo and your bass prescence isn't quite there. Maybe a touch of EQ could help or an additional mid bass?

The piano sounds cheap. Melodies are nice but it sounds very FL Keys.

Being quite nit picky but I hope it helps! Lemme know if you want anymore feedback. Peace.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll update the track as soon as i can

Clean sounds. Quite hard hitting. Nice snares on the build up! Overall fits the genre well. Piano bits are legendary. Contrasts the other sections really nicely. The bits following that are my favourite, the hands up style! Good job dude and if you want more reviews just lemme know. Peace.

Spot on dude! Proper chill vibes!

The laughs are annoying though.

Other than that, the mixing, beat, ambience, very chill!

Great work, proper stoner piece xD

Liking those distorted synths dude! Your beat is cool too but I reckon you could vary up the side percussion a bit, the bits that are reverbed to give it a smidge more variety.

Cool choice of synth. Very retro.

One thing I'd say could be tweaked is the flow of the piece from one section to the next. Like the movement of the piece. It feels quite grounded / like a loop piece.

Other than that, good job and all the best with the contest!

Sweet bars and clean recording dude! Instrumental is a solid choice too. Good stuff

Nice intro and some fun vibes you guys got going on. One dude has a mic that overpowers the rest of you guys. Two are very clear but one dude is bass heavy.

Timestamp the description please :)

Floating on a ship in outer space, like Iron Man in the New Avengers...

Very spacey vibes dude. In the middle of nowhere type ambience.

I don't quite understand though, is this going to be a backing for his poetry or is it your rendition of his poetry?

terroristimusicali responds:

Thank you! This is the instrumental part from the poetry... soon there will be the full version with voice... Here there is only instrumental 'cause the text is in italian...

Interesting piece, very otherworldly vibes. I like the way you tease the drop at the start before going into it! Very Midnight Club street racer vibes.

Not a huge fan of the vocals, a smidge overdone.

The backing music is solid though. Especially when it gets going around 1 min. You've actually added a lot of variety to it when you could just run with 1 constant rhythm for longer. Especially as a night racing track, it would play better if continuous.

Still, that's just my personal preference.

Awesome work dude!

VEUSKEMINI responds:

I never thought this as a racing track, then maybe I would have done something smoother. Anyway thanks for the feedback!

I'm down with this genre dude! Such clean sounds. Hands down dude. You win Newgrounds! :D

So clean and tasty sounds man, the percussion just <3

I don't like your midbass though. It's fine but the rest of the bits are great so it brings it down a bit.

Would cut back on the vocal chops / random noises a bit too, in the drop. And that piano also sounds a bit on the cheap side.

Just being overly crticial to help.

Great sounds!

Flaaroni responds:

Thanks for the feedback :)

Back in the flow of things!
