Nice intro, liking those clicks, cheeky little riser in the build followed by a false build section which is nice.

Drop itself is decent but lacks punch. Too much reeverb and your section after the drop is too quiet. The kick punches well but lacks low end imo and your bass prescence isn't quite there. Maybe a touch of EQ could help or an additional mid bass?

The piano sounds cheap. Melodies are nice but it sounds very FL Keys.

Being quite nit picky but I hope it helps! Lemme know if you want anymore feedback. Peace.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll update the track as soon as i can

Floating on a ship in outer space, like Iron Man in the New Avengers...

Very spacey vibes dude. In the middle of nowhere type ambience.

I don't quite understand though, is this going to be a backing for his poetry or is it your rendition of his poetry?

terroristimusicali responds:

Thank you! This is the instrumental part from the poetry... soon there will be the full version with voice... Here there is only instrumental 'cause the text is in italian...

Interesting piece, very otherworldly vibes. I like the way you tease the drop at the start before going into it! Very Midnight Club street racer vibes.

Not a huge fan of the vocals, a smidge overdone.

The backing music is solid though. Especially when it gets going around 1 min. You've actually added a lot of variety to it when you could just run with 1 constant rhythm for longer. Especially as a night racing track, it would play better if continuous.

Still, that's just my personal preference.

Awesome work dude!

VEUSKEMINI responds:

I never thought this as a racing track, then maybe I would have done something smoother. Anyway thanks for the feedback!

I'm down with this genre dude! Such clean sounds. Hands down dude. You win Newgrounds! :D

So clean and tasty sounds man, the percussion just <3

I don't like your midbass though. It's fine but the rest of the bits are great so it brings it down a bit.

Would cut back on the vocal chops / random noises a bit too, in the drop. And that piano also sounds a bit on the cheap side.

Just being overly crticial to help.

Great sounds!

Flaaroni responds:

Thanks for the feedback :)

1 min was niceeeeeeeee!!

Some work on your mixing would do wonders to bring that section out more. It feels like it's sitting back a bit.

2 min is actually better mixing wise, it pops a bit more than the first drop.

Reckon some light EQ, chopping away low frequencies on some synths and boosting highs here and there would help bring it out more. Also your synth all occupy the same space it sounds like, improve that by panning and stereo imaging some whilst monoing the ones you want in the middle and it'll sit even nicer. 2 min is actually much better in this regard than the earlier bits.

Hope this helps

Twinky62 responds:

I will take this opinion for further releases! Thx :)

13/8 time?! You are on some Einstein business xD

The track itself is decent dude. Quite an ambient piece. You got those low ducked kicks and spaced synths with jingles here and there adding to the atmosphere.

Interesting sounds dude!

If you want to go more punchy with your next one:
- More risers and falls
- Snares
- Punchy kick
- Cymbals
- Midbass focus, wobbles etc.

Cool work overall dude :)

Craftercrew054 responds:

Thank you! I will take your tips into consideration when creating more music. I have always been interested in odd time signatures, starting with the songs my dad used to play on the piano and at some point it got crazy. Now it feels like a natural part in composing, and probably less than half of my tracks are in 4/4. I have never watched that many music tutorials and some things that other people seem to have very easy with I get all tangled up in. Almost all I know about mixing and such is gained through little lines and concepts, like balancing the sounds throughout the frequency spectrum and side-chaining, and almost all synth knowledge is self acquired.
Overall, thank you for the feedback!

Fell asleep, woke up in Narnia.

Very chilled vibes! Lovely ambience and bell sounds.

Some personal tips:
- the snare is harsh, a clap might be nicer / softer to match with the piece. It works in the later bits but stands out too much on the earlier bits. Like it's right there in your ear kinda thing.

The ambient bits are very strong, just the drum bits stick out to me but other than that sounds spot on!

ShockblastDeluxe responds:

Thanks for the input!

Spot on dude!

Fits the description perfectly :)

Might have to boot up Forza Horizon and give this a whirl.

My only criticism, why is it distorting? Noticeable at 2 min mark.

AngelPandaEarth responds:

Some people say that Newgrounds has a bass problem but if downloaded, then that's a problem...

Dead cats on pikes?! That's evil man!

Nice playing, just need a better mic as it isnt quite clear enough.

EvilSquireAlt responds:

I changed the whole track.

Quite a minimal style you got going on!

Very melow vibes :)

I like it!

supafreshpjs responds:

Thanks. I still need to add more to it though.

Back in the flow of things!
