Great premise and a lovely intro! Definitely feeling those airy vibes pulling me up like come on dude, it aint actually that bad.

Very soft piece and chilled vibes. Nice selection of synth again, very retro feel to it and your percussion is almost talking to me with its tuning.

Very cool dude and quite a clean sound overall. Definitely fits around your premise well! Your increase in synths and sounds over the track really emphasise the going from bad to feeling better and fuller!

Edit: only thing I didnt like was the fade out. Feel like it should have ended with volume and perhaps a melody or whatever. It kinda makes it like the happy is fading away.

Very nice! Quite a soft and chilled vibe throughout. The melodies are definitely there and the choice of synths is nice.

Has good movement and flow. One thing you could do is tweak the volume for example at 1:20, where there are no synths and just guitar, make the guitar bits louder, then when the synth kicks back in, return the guitar to the background again.

Cool stuff dude! I especially liked the short bells around 2:43 :)

Want anymore reviews just lemme know. Peace.

Nice use of space. Track feels very large right off the bat. I wonder, have you tried increasing the volume of the center a bit more, especially in the intro? Just to give it some more close proximity prescence?

Very nice overall just a bit over spaced in the earlier parts. 1:16 onwards is absolutely nuts!!!!! That guitar!!!!!!!!!

Like with the other one though, your panned cymbal is taking my attention too much.

Great work on everything else though :)

I have instilled the premise in which you speak in my recrodings since this particular piece was posted.

I have sinced learned a lot about how compression effects clean signals etc...

I actually like this little idea I had and I think I might remake it lol.

Thanks for commenting! It brought me back to this piece!

Oh yeah, this is nice!!! Very fresh sounding! Such dragonballz vibes to it. Like the credit roll or intro to an awesome anime thats been americanized.

Or even a tv show comedy!

Very nice dude. Only thing I'd say is the panning a parts is a smidge too wide for example the cymbal at 1:48 and 1:10. The bits where you panned it from center to the side was nicer imo, where the tail panned away.

Very nice track overall just a bit too wide for my tastes. Listening on headphones atm.

Like discovering a pixie in the woods. That synth at 20 seconds is beautiful dude.

Your piano vst sounds cheap though dude. Thought about investing in one like Kontakt or something?

If not, play with the dynamics and timing a bit to make it sound more realistic.

The melodies in this are absolutely nuts!

Was the original a classical type track?

GriffinLancer responds:

I've been debating investing in Kontakt for sometime now, but this might just push me to do so for the sake of finding a VST that's as genuine as I can get it, short of buying a baby grand.

Aiden_W arranged this composition, and in the sheet music, you've got 4 different melodies that are interacting simultaneously. However, the "main" score has amazing 1/16th note flourishes. This composition was designed for a more organic orchestra, however, I felt like in a pseudo-fantasy realm, one could get away with interesting synth choices like harmor and morphine.

Thank you for your input, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

This one is much cleaner in levels than the other piece.

Interesting selection of song. Is this a remix of a theme?

Your drum and percussive selectiom really do set the mood for those Sylvester Stallone mixed with future vibes.

This one almost feels Western! Especially around 1:20!

Keep up the good work

GriffinLancer responds:

This is a track from Final Doom. The track is a pretty simple 4 layer piece (drums, 3 synths). The composition is a note for note transcript from the source midi, so with the exception of minor note length adjustments, the track is nearly identical, designed for it to be recycled into a music .wad for future use.

The FPC doesn't have a wood clav, so I took a simsynth clav and processed the hell out of it. I'm rather proud of always making the most out of my resources. ;)

Reminds me a lot of Red Alert and Generals! Is this one of the themes?

Some suggestions would be watch the high end around 35 - 45 seconds, something there is a tad too harsh on the ears.

Also around 55 seconds.

Are sounds going over 0db and distorting?

The beat is decent, gives it a retro vibe.

Just the levels are off for example again at 1:50, that screechy thing.

Fix those bits and I'll have another listen dude.

Has a very future cop esque vibe to it.

GriffinLancer responds:

Thanks for the heads up! I'll definitely want my levels when I process another track.

This is actually from the original Command and Conquer PC game, so you may have heard it throughout the series.

The distorted effect is actually intentional, I was going for a very processed sound that gives the listener a sense of comfortable discomfort.

KROWE!!!!!!! WHERE YOU BEEN DUDE!!!!

Awesome to see a name from back in the day rocking it out and dude YOUR LEVELS HAVE GROWN CONSIDERABLY!!! SOME BLUE SUPER SAIYAN BUSINESS!!

Nice track dude. Listening on headphones but when I get home I'm gonna have a dig on the speakers.

From the headphones your highs sound a smidge muffled. Your vocal chops are nice, melodies are on point, your builds are strong indeed and the drop at 2:36 is niceeeeeee.

Good stuff dude, Aydin

Yeah it's nice dude! Has a detective in the metropolis type vibe to it.

You could extend the piano bit and go full final fantasy on us.

The clarinet right on the last bar has too much overlap. Get the notes to each fade out if you are going to lay them ontop of each other. Or get like 4 duplicates of the clarinet and automate the volume that way. It'll sound much cleaner.

Any other track, just hit me up. Peace

Nice ambience to the start and the way you dropped out the drums after like 2 bars or so into the piano bit was a nice teaser of whats to come.

The drop is very clean!!! Carries a lowkey energy to it which goes well with the earlier parts in the track..

Could definitely see this in a game of sorts, with a rainy backdrop and a lot of freerunning!

Very nicely done dude. You didnt even need the breakdown section in the second half dude, interrupted the flow imo but still a solid piece and it comes back in nicely.

Piano + Dnb = result!

Any other tracks need checking, gimme a shout!

Back in the flow of things!
